You don't have to dominate every game but you need to dominate in the areas your position requires. Remember, there are thousands of NCAA schools out there at various levels, so just do what you do. If you want some extra recognition you have to contact the schools, every school has a section on there website where athletes can contact the school. If you really want to be noticed sign up with a scouting or recruiting agency.

Ok.... Just Make The Team Play Your Best. And People Are Going To Hear From You In The School And Meet A Lot Of Friends And Tell Em To Watch. Who Knows The Guy You Meet Might Know Someone Who Gives Scholarships Or Sumthin.
You have to be good at the sport. First, get out of the mentality stating that you are white. If you are good, color does not matter. Most coaches just want to win. I suggest you work hard at dominating your position, get good grades, and get a highlights tape together. Flood some schools you like with it, and send to some small colleges as well. Take control of your destiny.
You have to be good at basketball and have the grades take the SAT study for them and you'll get a scholarship
Have your coach write letters to the colleges you want to go to and you will get responses from them..

That is what my sons coach did and he got tons of offers...

He is 6 ft and a guard.
a 5-11 should play 2-guard at least, but best to play point with your size. If you are coachable, trainable and with good basketball fundamentals, somecollegeshould be interested in you. Send letters of intent to prospective colleges
u gotta be good enough to play at thecollegelevel. YOU need to contact colleges and ask them if they are interested in you. if they're not, then ask them if they have any recomendations on schools that might be looking for a player like you to get your name out there. good l uck
